Airport

The nearest airport is Zurich (ZRH). For international flights, please check in at least one hour early, for USA and Israel at least two hours.

Alcohol

Please don't drink when you're drunk! The Palais Kraft hospitality team offers complimentary alcoholic drinks for moderate social drinking. We do not sell alcoholic drinks nor are we under any obligation to supply alcoholic drinks to guests.

We put a full range of **** standard amenities into the bathrooms. These are the best amenities locally available; we apologize for the plain look. Please call if you need something else, and we will try to get it for you.

Beds

The guest rooms have one double bed 180x200cm (almost king size); or queen bed (160x200) plus sofa ed. We have synthetic anti-allergic pillows in store. Please mail or call if you prefer these instead of down pillows. All blankets are synthetic and get washed in the hotel laundry machines. The comforters are synthetic and washable too. We use comforter covers.

Body Guards

We know reliable body guards. Please let us know early if you need personal protection.

Breakfast

We provide a buffet breakfast at 7am Monday to Saturday, and at 8am on Sundays. If you need earlier breakfast service, please let us know the evening before.

Call abroad

To call abroad from Switzerland, please dial + or 00 followed by the country code and the local phone number. For international calls, we recommend to use calling cards. Local calls from your room phone are complimentary.

Catholic Church

There is a catholic church a few hundred meters above Palais Kraft on Krähenbühlstrasse.

Doctor

There are public and private clinics close by. We can call an emergency doctor for you or book an appointment at one of the clinics for you.

DVD

The rooms have DVD players which can be used for music listening too.

Escorts

We believe that a hotel should be neither a brothel nor a monastery. For your protection, we reserve the right to check the ID of joining guests.

Gay and Lesbian

Palais Kraft is GLBT-friendly. We welcome every sex and every sexual orientation, every skin color, race, religion, minority but not every behavior!

Halal

We provide vegetarian snacks only. If you require special diet please inform us before your arrival.

Hindu Temple

There is a Hindu Temple of the ISKCON (Hari Krishna) Sect at Bergstrasse 54, 8032 Zurich, 0.75 km from Palais Kraft. Just follow the smell of their delicious food!

We like kids very much and always have kids stay in the building with their parents. We have a crib bed for small children.

We can call experienced, well trained, almost painfully serious Thai or Western masseurs for you.

Mountain Bikes

We have mountain bikes for your use. Palais Kraft is only a short and safe ride away from extensive forests with smooth roads without cars. Please respect the forest animals and keep to the roads.

Pets

We welcome pets but ask you to kindly call before your arrival. We can arrange for valets to take care of your pets (charges apply). Please do not leave pets unattended in the room while you are outside.

Protestant Church

There is a protestant church with a few hundred meters below Palais Kraft. Just follow the sound of the bells!

Public Transport

Just above Palais Kraft is the tram and bus stop "Toblerplatz" with trams 5 and 6 and bus 33. About 100 meters below Palais Kraft there is the tram and bus stop "Kirche Fluntern" with trams 5 and 6, and buses 33 and 751.

Radio

We can supply a small radio if you are used to listen to air-borne radio stations. The main local radio stations can be received with your TV.

Safe

The rooms have hotel safes.

Sauna

There is a small sauna on Level 4 which you may use free of charge (exclusive use).

Smoking

As a favor to other guests please refrain from smoking in your room or in the halls of Palais Kraft.

Snacks

The vegetarian snacks in your room are complimentary. If you need vegan snacks, please let us know before. The Palais Kraft hospitality team can prepare Thai food for you and for your guests. Please inquire.

Soft Drinks

Soft drinks are complimentary. Please let us know if you need or would like us to provide different soft drinks.

Taxi

Taxis from the airport to Palais Kraft costs about CHF (Swiss Francs) 50. For short distances taxis are quite economical if you consider your money AND your time. For longer distances, e.g. to Basel or Lucerne, we can arrange limousine service for you which will be cheaper than a metered taxi. TV

The guest rooms have 32" flat screen TV's with analog and digital channels. Palais Kraft adds Chinese and Russian satellite channels which are not available otherwise. If you need to view a particular channel during your stay, please inform us about two weeks before your arrival and we will try to catch it for you.
